This net is made of very highly figured quilted maple for the handle. The hoop is made of repeating bands of walnut and maple. The net itself is a vinyl ghost bag. All my nets I categorize as "trout nets" have a hoop measurement of 15"L, 8"W and 10" deep. Also known as a 12.5 in the ghost bag replacement world.
I like building my nets with a slightly longer handle. I find them to be more versatile. Also, every one of my net handle are free formed. I do not use a jig to build the handles so every single one is unique in size, shape and of course, the wood.
This particular net is one of my shorter models. Overall length is 30"
