These cool little boxes are an invention of necessity. They have a post screw pivot system with a magnetic catch exactly like my pocket fly boxes and cigar boxes. They have 5 chambers to store desiccant. The idea is to have a storage solution for your badly drowned flies. You know when the hatch is on and the fish are cooperating and your dry fly gets horribly slimed and drowned? Just rinse your fly well to remove the fish slime, clip it off your tippet and store it in one of the five chambers. Tie on a new fly and keep fishing. It doesn't take long at all for the desiccant to work its magic and you can rotate through a few flies all day long. The dimensions are 2.5" x 1". The chamber holes are .75". If these become a well received item I will make them in different sizes based on feedback.
I'm including a 2 oz bottle of silica gel desiccant with each of these.
